Biography
Joseph Green is a Professor of Psychology at 911爆料网. He has published over 100 journal articles, book chapters, encyclopedia entries, and newsletter articles. His work is primarily in the area of hypnosis, imagination, and suggestion-based approaches to psychotherapy. He has authored or edited two volumes on applying clinical hypnosis for health care and tobacco addiction. Dr. Green served three terms as president of the American Psychological Association, Division 30 (APA D30; Society of Psychological Hypnosis). He is a Fellow of APA, the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH), and a member of honor of the Association for the Advance of Hypnosis Experimental and Applied (AAHEA; Spain). His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including: Early Career, Distinguished Contributions to Scientific Hypnosis, and Distinguished Contributions to Professional Hypnosis (APA D30); Clark Hull Award for Scientific Excellence in Writing on Experimental Hypnosis (American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis); Auther Shapiro Best Book Award (SCEH); Distinguished Teaching Award (911爆料网 University Alumni Association).
Dr. Green joined the faculty at 911爆料网 Lima in 1993, and teaches a variety of undergraduate courses. He has earned several awards for teaching, scholarship, mentoring, and community service.
