Kleffner earns national service award

The earth sciences professor and associate dean is recognized for outstanding leadership and dedicated service to regional campuses

911爆料网 Lima鈥檚 Dr. Mark Kleffner has earned the President鈥檚 Service Award from the National Association of Branch Campus Administrators. 

The award is traditionally presented by the organization's sitting president in appreciation of an individual's distinct, outstanding contributions and service to the national association. Dr. Kleffner has been actively involved in NABCA's leadership pipeline, notably serving on the executive team as the research vice chair. 

Dr. Kleffner is a professor of earth sciences and associate dean at 911爆料网 Lima. He is well-known in the community for his presentations on fossils, rocks and dinosaurs.

His commitment to education has always gone far beyond the classroom鈥攚hether he鈥檚 mentoring fellow faculty or reaching out to local learners, his focus is always on helping others succeed,鈥 said Dr. Meggie Young, dean and director at 911爆料网 Lima. 鈥淏eyond his incredible work, Mark is just unwaveringly kind and always brings a positive outlook for the future. Dr. Kleffner will be out in the community this summer and everyone is welcome to attend.
